YouTube Vs TikTok

YouTube is very vast and have different categories and tiktok is not vast as compared.YouTube is something where anyone can go for anything I.e. if you want to laugh you can watch funny videos and if u want to learn then u can watch content related to that. But tiktok doesn't have such thing to provide people with these kind of content.YOUTUBE give us knowledge, rather tiktok gives us nothing.YouTube is a American company and tiktok is a Chinese company so as indians is boycotting Chinese products they should boycott there app also ( if you think “mere ek Jan ke tiktok leave krne se kya farak padta h, I tell you bro, ek-ek ke krne se bhaut farak pdta h)YouTube has creators who have value outside YouTube also, they give people some knowledge and stuff but if you see in case of tiktok then 99% of tiktok creators are nothing outside there app and they don't add any value in anyone's life.If by any incident both the apps are shut down then I can see YouTubers will have that same popularity and continuing to add values to our lives, but in case of tiktokers, I don't know even there street dog will refuse to identify themπŸ˜‚, jokes apart tiktokers don't have any value outside tiktok.Tiktok founder himself have said that he had made this app only for unsound mind and jobless people, and if any creators on tiktok are thinking how famous they are just keep in mind that you are only followed by unsound and jobless or freelance people who don't have any source of entertainment in their lives.YouTube creator are True life inspirations of people, the best example for it will be Gaurav Taneja A.k.a flying beast. He is a true inspiration, I will not write much about him here, you can just google him what a amazing person he is. But if you see tiktokers you cant get any inspiration from 99.99% from any tiktok creators (big or small).I personally think nowadays tiktokers are just trying to come in limelight by doing controversy with YouTubers. They(tiktokers) are trying to manipulate minds of people and convincing them that they are a gem but reality we all know...

I want to say to the tiktoker who started this ( Amir Siddiqui) - Bhai badi jldi jag gya tu, elvish yadav ke phle bhi bhaut YouTubers ne isse bhi zayada roast kiya h, bas baat itni h ki tko kabhi nai kaha issliye tu chup tha but jb tko kha toh tu ladkio ko bahana leke ladne lag gya ki ladkio ko bola, body shaming ki and all, tu na khali tera badla le rha h toh ladkio ke nam se toh mat le. Khud ke dam pe kr na, phle bhi bhaut YouTubers ne elvish se zayada roast kiya tb kyun chup tha tu, ab ye nahi bola dena ki tko YouTube jesi app ke bare me hi nai pta thaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Tko Samaj bhi nai aara ki sab teri kitni le rahe hai. Tujhe lgra h teri brand value baad rahi h, lekin bhai yaad rakhliyo, tere followers kitne bhi baad jae lekin teri brand value jam hi ho rahi h( kisi bhi smj dar aadmi se puch liyo). Bro you are just another stupid nerd.

Tik Tok or YouTube?

It shouldn't be TikTok vs YouTube. On the surface, it looks like a fight between two people or two platforms but people are taking it in a very different way.

Content Quality: I am not on TikTok also I don't follow Youtubers. Does it make both the platform bad? No, It's my individual choice. All the platforms have a different type of users and content and there is an audience for every type of content then who are we to blame these platforms or content creators?

Content Originality: There is no such thing which 100% original. We all inspire each other. People who are saying content on TikTok is not original then how can they support CarryMinati? Doesn't he use other's video/content to roast them?

Why this hate against TikTok?

Socioeconomic Status: Making videos on TikTok is quite simple and doesn’t require much effort and people (Viewers) who are on TikTok are only for fun & enjoyment. So, considering the audience and easiness of the platform it’s for everyone be it a village person, a housewife, or anyone who just knows how to record a video.

Meanwhile, creating content for YouTube requires time & effort which is not possible for everyone also getting views/followers are tough on YouTube.

People who don’t use TikTok consider TikTok users inferior & less educated/talented compare to them & they can’t accept the fact that their videos are seen by millions of people (even if it’s not providing any value).

But my question is why? I don’t like TikTok but if someone is getting followed by 20 million users then there is a demand for his/her content. It’s the app with most downloads then who am I to judge the choice of those people who are getting entertained with the content available on TikTok.

If you are not liking TikTok then don’t use it, block all the people who share TikTok video but banning or bringing the rating down won’t solve anything.

Religion: It’s hard to admit but the way I am seeing it many people who are demanding to ban TikTok have problems with only selective users. Also, on TikTok many top creators are Muslim and we all know the atmosphere of our country. So this might be also adding fuel to this controversy.

Fake Nationalism: Many people are uninstalling the app because it’s developed by a Chinese company ignoring the fact that how much we import from China.

My Opinion:

YouTube and TikTok are completely different platform and any comparison between them is pure wrong. Quality of any content depends on the respective audience and both platforms have different sets of audiences. One simply can’t abuse the other because they are not liking or enjoying the content available on that platform.

People from small cities or villages, don’t know much about Quora as well & it's not much of value for them but they are not demanding to ban Quora are they?

People need to get a life. And by people, I mean Youtubers, Tiktokers, and even viewers.

Both of these platforms had a motive- to create content, either informative or entertaining. If people want to make videos in order to gain attention or become influencers, there is nothing wrong with that.

In my opinion, YouTube is comparatively better given its content and years of existence. On the other hand Tiktok, a bit cringey. In the same way, everyone has the right to make an opinion and stand by it.

The problem begins when people try to prove superiority because hey! We can't agree to disagree. That leads to roasting.

But since when roasting means body shaming and abusing? I may not like TikTok but I'm definitely not in the favour or its shaming. If making videos make people happy, let them be happy no? If you don't like something, don't watch it. Simple. What is the point in shaming and harrassing people?

On one hand, you’re trying to appear cool by talking about LGBTQ community and all, and on the other hand, tagging every guy that makes videos on Tiktok as Chhakka. Like, seriously? And the people who are roasting them, are the ones who are not even sensible enough to know what to speak in public and what not.

Being an influencer, you should know the impact of your content on public. If people idolize you, you can't body shame, humiliate, and use cuss words in every sentence while “normalizing" it just to appear cool. It’s your problem if you can’t stand people who are not from your so called “social class”, trying to compete in content creation. Because as a matter of fact, the content of YouTube sucks as well.

And the most worrisome part is, that people are actually enjoying it. They’re watching and making such videos the talk of the town. I so wish people had invested this energy and efforts in doing something productive.

We, as a society, are failing. And instead of realising that, we’re busy in making people rich by wasting our precious time. It’s frustrating and scary.

And someone needs to tell Modi Ji that “Desh ka yuva vaccine nahin, videos bana raha hai (The youth of India is not making vaccine, but videos)!”

Before answering this... I find better to clear some things.

I have a cousin who is immensely a big fan of Tik tok... And also a creator on it.

I have another cousin who is a graduate from IIT-Kanpur and runs a YouTube channel.

Let's compare some characteristics of both

The amount of efforts put.Tik tok... First things first to the most I know the time limit is maximum around 60 seconds. So you perform for the whole of 60 seconds.Youtube... To those who don't know if a YouTube channel is monetized, you need minimum of 10 minutes video if you want to earn something better... So you perform for whole of 10*60 seconds.ContentTIk tok.. . There are usually some recorded words and people mostly dub or act on it. This means zero content creation. You tube .. Right from thinking about a topic to scripting and performing there is a notable content work which a YouTube has to do.EditingTik tok . This plays an important role but the amount of efforts put is least. Even if you insert a edit every second (though that's not practical).. The most will be 60 and mind it you don't need to find a different software to do it.YouTube .. First you need an appropriate software which suits your content, you also need to practise on it and spend hours on it. I've seen my brother spending hours on editing it in best way.. And when he is busy I am the one to do it so I personally know how difficult it is.AudienceTIk tok.. Majority of people are those with lots of time but they are definitely not in search of some learning.YouTube ... No doubt there are some who waste time but most surf it in search of some information or educational content.

No doubt even tik tokers have their struggle (a bit more than Ananya Pandey) but comparing it with you tubers and telling how tik tokers play an important role as social influencer makes no sense.

Pardon if I am hurting someone's sentiments but these are just my personal opinions.....
